Love DIY projects? Our 18” "Assemble Your Own" tuffet kit has everything you need to create an 18” tuffet form. Just add 4 bun feet, a foundation or fusible pattern, and your favorite fabric to complete it!

 

Completed Kit Includes:

  • 6” pre-cut foam (18” diameter, beveled top, with center marked for button location).
  • 17″ diameter plywood (pre-drilled holes for button tufting and T-nut installation, foam glued to wood).
  • 8 T-nuts installed in the plywood (outer holes for narrow bun feet, inner holes for wide bun feet).
  • 36” x 36” upholstery-grade fiber batting.
  • 2 1/2” button form.
  • Four 18″ cords for securing the button (durable and unbreakable).
  • Two yards of tufting cord for gathering the bottom (durable and unbreakable).

All components are high-quality, furniture-grade materials, ensuring your tuffet maintains its shape and durability like premium furniture!

Fabric Requirements (not included; amounts vary depending on your chosen design and pattern):

  • Fabric (44” or 60” wide):
    • Bottom: 18” square
    • Button: 6” square
    • Batting: 6” square
    • Ruffle (optional): 4” x 24”
  • Lining (muslin): 1 yard

Additional Note: A 12” upholstery needle is required for button tufting (not included).
